What is the Fawn Response?

Fawn is a nervous system survival pattern.
It’s part dorsal vagal shut-down response, part sympathetic response, wrapped around a deep fear of rejection and abandonment. It's what happens when your system learned early on:

"If I’m good enough, pleasing enough, selfless enough… I will lose the love.”
